I’ve become a podcast junkie! The best way for an entrepreneur to feel less isolated is to plug into the insights of those who are ahead of us on the path. Here are a few of the podcasts I listen to daily as part of my learning ritual and have allocated 30 minutes religiously every morning for this most important action. I love to listen to the musings of people who are smarter, more skilled, more experienced, more creative and more successful. Because who doesn’t want to be all of those things? 🙂
There are so many great podcasts to choose from, but here are a few of my favorites:
John interviews today’s most successful and inspiring Entrepreneurs. They share the journey highlighting a failure and lessons learned, an AH-HA moment and the steps taken to turn that moment into success. Why I love it: John publishes daily, so this has become my morning caffeine to remind me that I’m not alone.
Pat Flynn is the crash test dummy of online marketing. If you’re not doing business online but are thinking about it, you can see what it’s like, see what’s involved and make decisions on your own without having to pay someone and be subjected to the possibility of false claims and wasted money. Why I love it: I like that he’s charging the hill and once he takes it, I can follow behind him and set up the camp. Saves me time and money.
Candid conversations with creative entrepreneurs and insanely creative people. Why I love it: Bold, fresh, gets the creative juices flowing.
The big questions at the center of human life, from the boldest new science of the human brain to the most ancient traditions of the human spirit. Why I love it: I like exploring the outer reaches of what makes us tick.
